"I just wanted to let you know how much I've enjoyed seeing your band perform. I travel a lot with my job and have had the opportunity to see a lot bands throughout the years. Yours is definitely one of the best "bar bands" I've seen. I've been in Bloomington on business and have made it out to see you twice now. The artists you cover and the selections of songs is just great. It really take you back to hear the songs that you grew up listening to performed so well. Your lead guitarist is awesome. This guy would be in my "top five" bar band lead guitarists. He nails the solos. I also enjoy the addition of his keyboard effects to the various songs. I'm equally impressed with your drummer. He's played really tight both times I've seen you. I enjoy watching your bass player. He's very animated and keeps the band rockin'. His voice is perfect for the songs that he sings. Your lead singer has a nice, smooth alto voice that is suitable for the selection of songs you perform and plays a pretty solid guitar. Last but not least, your "behind the scenes" people are great too. Your sound guy is so professional and makes you sound great in buildings with less than perfect acoustics. You can tell he takes his job seriously. The young lady that takes pictures does a great job of not only capturing the fun with photos, but also promoting the band. With her looks and personality she could sell ice cubes to an Eskimo! I look forward to seeing you when I'm in Bloomington next."

"This group transports you back to another time and place (a bygone era)through the rock and roll music of the 60s and 70s, played and sung with dedication to the originals. We enjoyed our trip down memory lane as we listened and danced to the well-blended, energetic performance of these four musicians, hearing only positive comments about their performance as the night went on.

~Julie Swanberg

"We love them!! All their music ROCKS!! They'll take a request anytime and bring the house down!!
~Heather Welch (#1 Elvis Fan), Bartender Coppertop Lounge in Bloomington

You were a natural choice for putting a group together for Tyler and Erin's wedding reception. You did a fantastic job of pleasing a diverse group of people. It was fun to watch the young children out on the dance floor with their parents early in the evening. Later, our age group took over, blended with the younger crowd. By the end of the night, you stepped it up while the wedding party and their friends danced until the end of the party. Everyone loved the music and had a great time! I would be happy to recommend your band to anyone!

The Bygones are a band that entertains all ages and very accommodating to the place they are going to play for. We really enjoyed our night with you guys.
~Toni Firkins, owner of DaT Bar in Lexington

The Bygones are playing some of the best renditions of classic rock in this town. The lead vocals and harmonies of the entire band are very polished, accompanying solid rhythms and excellent lead guitar work. This band is on the softer side of rock, without being gooey. I've seen them twice and have been impressed with the presentation as a whole.

~Randy Hoffman, guitarist of blues band 6V6

"Only one word can describe The Bygones - AWESOME! Awesome vocals, awesome instrumentals, awesome songs. Just an awesome experience. They kept the crowd going all night long!"
~Julie Jones, bartender at Brewe-Ha's

"The Bygones have the perfect name for their band and type of music. If you love nostalgic rock you'll love The Bygones' selection of music as they do their best to take you back to that "bygone" era of good old fashioned rock 'n roll. No smoke 'n mirrors, no fancy light show, no gimmicks. Just great vocals, harmony, guitar licks & solos, and a fantastic drummer & percussionist playing some great classic rock tunes! They really get the crowd going...first time I've heard an encore for a house/cover band. I can't wait to hear you guys play outdoors this summer at the Mackinaw Valley Vineyard!!"
~Jennie Hahn...a loyal follower of The Bygones

"We love you guys!! You sound great and put on one heck of a show. It's so nice to listen and dance to music you actually know the words to. Thank you for making it easy for us to decide where to go. We just check your website and make our plans. It's cool trying new places when you know you will love the music and dance all night."
~Kim from the (you know who you are) gang

"Absolute Professionals, and so much fun you have to get up and move. Hard to believe such a combination? Well, believe it. Every time I make one of their shows, I get the new inspiration to get out and play again. Being a musician, it's obvious to tell the attempt at perfection that goes with these guys' sound. Their genre of music is so widespread and their combined knowledge of the music they play keeps you impatiently waiting for the next song. It's just 'that' good! Just reading the bios on these guys and some of their inspirations will help you understand why these guys are more than just weekend warriors. On top of them being top notch 'recordable' musicians, their efforts they put into their vocals seem endlessly easy for them. These guys may be local, but when was the last time you heard a "local" band have the 3 part harmony these fellas do. Total 'hair raising on the back on the neck' feeling. You other musicians know what I'm talking about. When you hit that 'something' in a song or that OH MY GOD!! how the heck did we do that? Well, that's there for them, the IT factor for sure every time....Finally, let's not forget the songwriting efforts that these gentlemen put forth. I have listened many times to their originals. I hope you will pay close attention to them as well, as I'm sure they'll be played again and again by more than just the live performances that the Bygones put on...........No good luck wish for you guys - frankly, it has nothing to do with luck what you guys are putting out......great skill, great music, and Great Job."
~Kevin Satterfeal

"Just a note to thank you men on a great time the wife and I had at Bob's birthday bash. You guy's for sure were the "A" band for the night! Loved how you cut from one song to the next, clean! Keep up the great work and hope to see you jam again soon in our area. Rock-on ;-)"
~Danny Loco

The Bygones would like to thank all the folks that come out to see us and especially those who make it there week after week. (You know who you are) We would also like to thank Connie for taking pictures for us. And last but not least, thanks to the Bar Owners for taking a chance on us and then having us back. See you at the next gig!"
